-HD not low quality
-No music at the beginning-add ambient sound effects instead (crickets and owl twooting)
-Start with the house then show the door number
-Show girl asleep and then close up
-Show the walking shot and have music fade in, then show the walking to the door
-Sound effect of “bang” so that she wakes up
-Do not add the titles and credits at the end instead add the titles of editing, camerawork by, etc, during the footage so that it doesn’t look like a short film.
-After her scream, add the main title of the name of the film.
I asked our focus group to watch the second draft and comment on the editing, giving improvements that could be made. This is a shot list which summarises what they said, baring in mind that they aren’t experts so the improvements are basic. I will make sure to incorporate these ideas in editing the second draft as these were suggested by audience members in the demographic of our target audience, therefore the improvements they suggested will hopefully make the film seem more appealing to them as well as the wider audience.
Things such as the quality of the footage will be easily amendable, along with changing around the placing of the credits. Whilst I will have to try and find/ make suitable sound fx.
